EvtLog(Temporary name for this project)  is a Flex+Google Map MushUp-based community platform that allow people to post Event Promotion. Traditional way for a person to find some event is to hear from other people like friends, etc., or go to search engine for a particular keyword. For the later one, a person go to search for some events with several particular keyword using search engine for event website, or through internal search engine in some forums. By this way, for those events that they might be interested but they have never instantly think of related or suitable keywords, they might eventually miss them.

EvtLog is a map based Event Promotion platform for people to post their event information while user can easily surf for events information from a Map View. Users can easily zoom to a place that they live or they concern, and to see what events is going to happen around there. The current state of this project is focused to events in Hong Kong. And the platform is running on personal pet project-based and is still in development.

As a final year university student of BSc Creative Media as well as a freelancer. This project is not only my Final Year Project but also to be my featured profolio to show my talents on web development. Look forward to seek for prospect developer, investor and even boss, to co-develop, invest the project or hire me for their company’s task.
